Perris has some of the most affordable golfing in Southern California, along with being a definite retirement destination. Perris is a city located in Riverside County, California. It is situated in the San Jacinto Valley and sits at an mean elevation of 1,599 feet, with it's highest point being being 2,052 feet above sea level and is estimated to having current population around 66,455. Making up part of an area known as the Inland Empire, Perris is located 259 miles southeast of Las Vegas, 87 miles east of the metropolitan area of Los Angeles, and 83 miles north of San Diego. Perris observes an average of 309 days of sunshine per year, with temperatures in the low 30's to high 60's in the winter months, and low 70's to well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer months. There are many activities to take part in here, from casual to adventurous.

Located in Hemet CA, The Ramona Bowl Amphitheatre is a community non-profit organization. St. James Catholic School was established in 1965 at the request of Pastor James Munnelly. With the recommendation from the Bishop of San Diego, Father Munnelly invited four Sisters of Mercy from Sligo, Ireland to staff the parish school. Sister De Chantal Finerty was the first principal of Saint James Catholic School. The Sisters of Mercy continued to serve as school administrators until the 2000-2001 school year, when then principal, Sister Mary Francis Coleman, was called to serve as Chancellor to the Bishop in the Diocese of San Bernardino.
The Moreno Valley College is fast becoming the health education center of choice in the Inland Empire with strong programs in health sciences, human, and public services.
